Join us for our Annual Member Winter Potluck. Bring a side or dessert, we will supply the chicken! Afterward, we will have a featured presentation from Lauren Tafoya focusing on her recent trips to Costa Rica, Peru, and the Monarch overwintering sites in Mexico with a discussion of butterflies and conservation. Then any member who wishes to share a few photos, from anything Lepidoptera related, will be able to do so. Bring a flash drive with no more than 10 or so photos and be prepared to talk about them for 5 minutes. We will have boutique items too!

The Butterfly Society of Virginia is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our main purpose is to raise the general consciousness of our members and the public regarding the survival problems of butterflies and moths through publicity, programs and activities for both adults and children. We also promote butterfly and moth conservation, including conservation of butterfly habitats.
